Hmm that’s a good point. It didn’t used to be that way! If/when ASTR delists seems like a good time to consider that change—RKLB + SPCE would be a terrible grouping for “launch” 😂

Enjoyed the run down. I most enjoyed the comparison with launch to British railroads.

The rebounding investor enthusiasm seems to be lagging (or disconnected from) the poor market returns.

At some point I’m going to do a more thorough comp of launch vs other “commoditized” goods, including the railroad companies

Investors will probably get excited about space when 1) we see a Starlink spinoff, 2) we see more cislunar (and beyond) activity, and 3) most importantly as they become profitable

my bet is the excitement will wane. too many of these "companies" are better suited as science / good of humanity operations. investors don't have the patience for the markets to develop over 30 years. many of these companies also seem to forget that money only exists on earth, and the further you get from that (literally or figuratively) the more miracles and ecosystem effects you need to make it all work out.
